Dual High Pressure – IWT Plant
In the early 2000’s IWT were shipping a consistently good standard of plant into the UK. Spinnaker PC is currently installed on three plants of this type and has been for at least ten years. The plant has longevity as does our system which controls it. In all cases the plants are dual colour with multi additive dosing systems. Care has to be taken on brown to green changeovers to minimise cross contamination.
Processing Page Details
From the opening page cycles can be configured, reports printed, and a charge may be instigated. The plant operation buttons are context sensitive so that when the cycle runs the buttons change their function.
At all times the general information and plant information report the status of the system. Any faults that occur are reported clearly and succinctly and may be accompanied by a siren alert. The mute button may be used to silence any alarm, the manual button will allow an authorised operator to take manual control of the system where necessary.
Dual High Pressure Cellpack Plant
Designed and installed by CBR this dual OSV plant was part of a two plant installation. Dosing control was with the second plant but both systems were interconnected at panel level so that dosing into a tank that was being used in a cycle would not be able to happen.
Charge sheet future pack data entry.
On the drop down list top right of the page the operator selects ‘Future’ to configure this page to operate with charges and packs yet to be teated. The user can pre-load unlimited pack information. Also, data entry does not have to be completed prior to a charge starting. Data can be added at any time.
Charge sheet past data analysis.
The operator selects ‘Past’ to configure this page to operate with past charges. From here historical information for any charge run by the plant may be viewed. The current charge being viewed is the one highlighted in the list box, top right.
If needs be, pack information can be amended or added to in the event of data loading errors being made pre-charge. Also, from here charge sheets and / or customer treatment certificates may be printed.
Charge sheet print out
Here is a preview of a typical Spinnaker charge sheet. All of the pertinent information from the charge sheet summary is included in the printout along with pack details and a printout of the pressure graph.
The logo’s top left and top right may be customised. Typically the left logo is related to fluid and the right logo is the logo of the treater.
Detailed Charge Analysis
Selecting this feature allows you to look back at any charge on a valve, pump and sensor movement basis, logged by the second.
The up and down arrows top left allow the operator to quickly cycle through past charge details and do a like for like comparison on pressure performance for the plant. Every time the arrow buttons are clicked a new pressure profile will be displayed. In this way any mechanical issues creeping into the system will stand out to even the casual inspector.
